Yay we finally moved to wordpress! I’m stil a bit confused on how it works, and I haven’t yet figured out the little kinks yet, but I’m excited to be away from blogger and on to a different platform. There are certain aspects I miss about Blogger because I was so used to posting and adding pictures, so this is a bit different.
By the way, here is a picture of Mila on Memorial Day in her patriotic dress! And me and my girls at a Memorial Day Bbq! Isn’t she cute? She’s getting so big, I can’t believe it! She will be 6 months old tomorrow! How time flies!

Are Skinny Jeans bad for you?

Are you like me and live on shorts and skinny jeans? Skinny jeans are something I wear almost everyday and they have became a favorite of mine. I now have more skinny jeans then regular jeans in my closet. So when I read a news article that skinny jeans can be killing you, I had to share! Skinny jeans hazardous to my health? no way…
“A study published in the Wall Street Journal revealed tight pants can pinch sensitive nerves in the thigh, leading to pain or a burning sensation.
Skinny jeans have also been linked to digestive problems and even blood clots. The same goes for body slimmers, such as Spanx or waist-cinching belts. If they’re worn too tightly, the compression can also cause nerve problems and stomach aches.”
It does make sense. Especially if you wear your jeans a little too tight. I had to disagree with the above statement though, only because my jeans are really not THAT tight. I do see many girls wearing their pants a little too snug so I can see where the problem is, but for me, I’m gonna continue to wear my skinnys.

Wedding Outfit for Less

Last weekend one of my best friends got married. Congrats Megan on your amazing wedding! One of the biggest things to figure out when going to a wedding is what are you going to wear? Do I want to spend a ton of money? Not really.. so I had to figure out how to shop on a budget but still look fancy enough for a nice wedding. I put together a simple, and CHEAP outfit for less then $100, not bad right? In fact my dress was purchased on clearance at Forever 21 for $11.
For any special occassion, a little black dress always works. You just have to make sure you dress up the outfit a bit with some color. I did simple jewelry, a Swarvorski necklace and Lia Sophia ring, and a pair of bright red Aldo Shoes. (Bought on clearance for for $45, normally $95)
The wedding turned out fabulous, and so did my outfit. Cheap, simple, … did I mention cheap?

If you know me you know I have a deep love for sunglasses. Since my blog is built around fashion, I found it only fitting I should fill you all in on my new shades, and the newest collection from Tiffany & Co. I really couldn’t find much about it on the internet, which I found surprising because I’m in love with the new aviator lock collection. So I apologize for the lack of pictures, but it’s all I could find.

The glasses come in a couple different colors but I love the light blue. The lens is blue as well so you’re seeing everything in an ocean color. Love these! Isn’t the case gorgeous? ♥

We are Moving & an Update

So first, I would like to say I’m sorry for my lack of posts lately, but no need to worry I will return soon with tons of reviews and giveaways, I have been crazy busy, plus we are moving to WordPress finally! I’m so excited, not that I haven’t enjoyed my time with Blogger, but it’s time to move on. I’ve been messing around with my new camera lens, and trying to figure out how to use it. I’m thinking of taking some type of photography classes to learn, but I just dont have the time.
Mila is growing like a weed and I can’t believe she is already 5 months today. Here is a picture of her and her friend Nolan.
Although it’s a horrible picture of me, my grandmother is exactly 100 years older then Mila. Can you believe that? So here is a pic of me, Mila, my mother and my grandmother.
Here’s a couple pictures I took with my new lens, and although I’m no where close to being an expert, I’m starting to get the jist of a macro lens and photoshopping.
