Pley and Toy Organization for 2016

Organizing our toys has been a huge hassle this year. My kids have so many toys that it’s hard to keep them all organized.  Over the past few years we have purchased several expensive toy boxes and crates, but the toys never seem to stay inside them for long. So we try to get rid of toys as the kids grow out of them, (the kids are 4 and 2)  Our whole house is filled with toys all year long. I really can’t stand all the toy clutter, it’s very frustrating especially when you don’t have a lot of room, (which we don’t!)

Plus I’m constantly trying to figure out what to do with the old toys that the kids don’t play with anymore. I hate to just throw them away, or even giving them away, toys are expensive! The average doll for my daughter nowadays is about $50 which is a complete rip off.  And I probably purchase 3 or 4 dolls and toys for my son a month. The kids play with them a couple times and then throw them in the toy bin. The toys only come out again maybe once or twice. What a total waste of money! Wouldn’t it be great if we could somehow “exchange” the toys for new ones that the kids would be interested in?

So what’s the best way of reducing toy clutter? Pley is an online toy store that helps you reduce the clutter by allowing you to send back the toy once your child is done with it in exchange for a new toy.  Brilliant right? Kids get sick of toys so quickly and toys can be so expensive.

It’s really convenient and helps reduce clutter: Pley packages get delivered to your door and when the kids are done playing, they can return them for a new toy. No more toys sitting unused on shelves! Whoever thought of this concept is super smart!

Some of the key advantage points:

“* The savings in plastic alone from reduced purchases amounts to at least 240lbs fewer C02 emissions per annum per Pley member. And while the Pley business model relies heavily on shipping, we usually take advantage of trucks already on the road. If anything, our shipments are smaller than the typical Amazon package for the same LEGO set (Pley re-package them in smaller bags). Also, Pley helps reduce CO2 emissions from cars going to malls/stores to buy toys.
▪ Besides having access to a variety of toys, kids learn the concepts of sharing and reducing waste for the environment.
▪ Pley makes a fantastic gift! Shoppers can either gift unlimited subscriptions or gift cards!”

Pley is really convenient, and comes right to your door. For $20 a month to get unlimited toys, think about how much you spend on new toys at the toy store each month? I know I’m saving at least $50-$100 each month by subscribing to Pley for unlimited toys. The average savings of a Pley Customer is $800 a year. That’s a huge savings.

So I don’t know about you but I’m signing up for Pley so I can start saving hundreds of dollars a year.
