You know how there are baby things you will keep forever and pass on to your kids? Well I finally found my first item I will cherish forever and ever. The Tummy Talk pregnancy book might my favorite item I’ve received since learning I was pregnant, and I will tell you exactly why..
When I first heard about the Tummy Talk book on a different blog, I figured it was some type of journal you write in about your 9 months. But oh, no it’s SO much more. Here are the details:
•Cover material feels like suede with four elegant colors to choose from
•Hand-placed Swarovski crystal on the cover of each book
•105 unique color pages on acid free and lignin free, heavy-weight paper for pasting memorabilia, inserting photos and chronicling thoughts
•Back of the book contains 3 pieces of coordinating blank letterhead for the first letters to the baby for placement inside the cover pocket. In addition, 3 pages of scrapbook cut-outs are included for baby’s first love notes that can be pasted on album pages.
•5 sections include pregnancy stories, doctor’s visits, weekly journaling, baby shower and birth details
•Multi-color coated tabs for easy navigation of 5 sections; back pocket included on each tab
•Durable, pewter spiral binding
The book itself is a suede velour cover with Swarovski crystals, simply gorgeous. My first impression? Very impressed! This was much nicer then the books I browsed through in the book stores and Babys R Us. The cover, the multi colored pages, the detail to everything about your pregnancy… there is nothing this book doesn’t cover.
The Book also comes with a pack of Pregnancy Announcements. Perfect plus to an already perfect item.
The scrapbooking items did not come with the book, but they are my own personal stash. There is a divider in the book that allows you to scrapbook with different pics like your baby shower. This is what I decided to use the scrapbooking material for. The book comes with 5 different dividers
doctor’s visits, weekly journaling, baby shower and birth details
I love the part that allows loved one such as family and friends to cut out a piece of scrapbooking cardboard and write a personal note to your baby. Then you take the cut out pieces and glue them on the pages specified for your baby notes. There is even a front flap in the beginning of the book that has “letter to baby” where you can personally write a letter to your child. So cute!
Each page is more beautiful then the next. You can document your entire pregnancy including ultrasound pics and doctor appointments. This is the cutest baby book plus more. I am so excited and thrilled I was able to review it. I can’t say enough AMAZING things about Tummy Talk other then if you’re pregnant you need this book.
